The Assistant is an AI-powered board helper that answers questions, summarizes documents, and helps with decisions. Ask it anything about your community — from "What was the landscaping budget last year?" to "Summarize the last three meeting minutes."

Board members of HOA/condo communities.

How to Use It

Step 1: Open the Assistant

Go to Board Portal → Assistant or click the assistant icon from any page. It is always available in the sidebar.

Step 2: Ask Your Question

Type natural language questions like:

  • "Who are our delinquent accounts?"
  • "What did we decide about the pool renovation in March?"
  • "Draft a reminder about the upcoming board election."

Step 3: Review and Act

The Assistant pulls from your community's data — Documents, Meetings, Finances, and more. Always verify important facts before acting, but use the response as a strong starting point.

Common Issues

Q: The Assistant gave an answer that seems outdated. A: The Assistant uses the latest synced data, but there may be a short delay after uploads or changes. If something looks wrong, check the source document directly.

Q: Can the Assistant access resident personal information? A: Yes, but only for board members with proper permissions. The Assistant follows the same access rules as the rest of the portal.

Pro Tips

  • Use the Assistant to draft Messages/Broadcasts. Ask it to "Write a friendly reminder about trash day" and edit the result to match your community's tone.
  • Before meetings, ask the Assistant to summarize open Escalations and Violations so you have a ready-made status report.
