What It Does
The Messages/Broadcasts feature lets board members send announcements, updates, and targeted messages to residents. Whether it is a pool closure, a meeting reminder, or an emergency alert, you can reach everyone — or just the right people — in seconds.
Who It's For
Board members of HOA/condo communities.
How to Use It
Step 1: Compose Your Message
Go to Board Portal → Messages and click "New Broadcast." Write your subject and message. Use formatting to highlight key dates or actions.
Step 2: Choose Your Audience
Send to all residents, a specific building, or a custom group (like "Pool Committee" or "Delinquent Accounts"). Targeted messages keep noise down and relevance up.
Step 3: Send or Schedule
Send immediately or schedule for later. Residents receive the message by email and in their resident portal inbox. You can track who opened it.
Common Issues
Q: A resident says they did not get the broadcast. A: Check their email address in Members and confirm it is correct. Also ask them to check spam/junk folders and whitelist emails from your community domain.
Q: Can residents reply to broadcasts? A: Yes, if you enable replies. Replies go to the board email or a designated board member, not to all residents.
Pro Tips
- Use "Urgent" sparingly. If everything is urgent, nothing is. Reserve it for emergencies, safety issues, or last-minute meeting changes.
- Schedule routine reminders (like "Trash pickup tomorrow") in advance so you do not forget during busy weeks.
