Ask is your AI-powered portfolio assistant. Type a question in plain English and get answers from your community data. No need to run reports or dig through files — just ask.

Who It's For

Property Management Companies using LotWize to manage HOA portfolios.

How to Use It

Step 1: Open the Ask Panel

In the PMC portal, click "Ask" in the sidebar or the floating button at the bottom right. The chat panel opens.

Step 2: Ask Your Question

Type something like: "Which communities have dues collection below 80 percent?" or "Show me open violations older than 30 days." The AI reads your portfolio data and answers in seconds.

Step 3: Follow Up or Export

You can ask follow-up questions to dig deeper. Click the export button to save the answer as a PDF or share it with your team.

Common Issues

Q: The AI gave me old data. A: Ask refreshes from live data every time you ask. If something looks old, double-check the source data in the community records.

Q: Can the AI make changes to my data? A: No. Ask is read-only. It cannot edit, delete, or send anything. It only answers questions.

Pro Tips

  • Ask for summaries before board meetings: "Give me a one-paragraph summary of Community X this month."
  • Use Ask to train new staff — they can learn the portfolio by asking questions instead of reading manuals.
