Communications & Broadcasts lets you send messages to everyone in a community, a group of communities, or your whole portfolio. Use it for announcements, reminders, emergencies, and newsletters.

Property Management Companies using LotWize to manage HOA portfolios.

How to Use It

Step 1: Create a Message

Click "Communications" in the sidebar, then "New Broadcast." Pick who gets it: one community, selected communities, or your entire portfolio.

Step 2: Write and Format Your Message

Use the editor to type your message. Add images, links, or attachments. Choose the delivery method: email, SMS, in-app notification, or all three.

Step 3: Send or Schedule

Click "Send Now" to deliver immediately, or pick a future time to schedule it. You can also save the message as a template for reuse.

Common Issues

Q: Can residents reply to a broadcast? A: Only if you turn on "Allow Replies" before sending. Replies go to your Communications inbox, not to every resident.

Q: Why did some people not get the message? A: Check the delivery report. Common reasons are invalid email addresses, unsubscribed SMS numbers, or residents who turned off notifications.

Pro Tips

  • Save templates for common messages like dues reminders, meeting notices, and storm alerts.
  • Use the "Emergency" tag for urgent messages — it bypasses quiet hours and sends to every channel.
