What It Does

Compare Communities lets you stack your properties side by side. See which communities are healthy, which need help, and where to spend your time and money for the biggest impact.

Who It's For

Property Management Companies using LotWize to manage HOA portfolios.

How to Use It

Step 1: Pick Communities to Compare

Go to "Compare Communities" in the sidebar. Select two or more communities from your portfolio using the checkboxes.

Step 2: Choose What to Compare

Use the dropdown to pick metrics: dues collection rate, violation count, member satisfaction, or staff response time. You can compare up to four metrics at once.

Step 3: Read the Results

The chart shows each community as a colored bar. Hover over any bar to see exact numbers. Use the "Export" button to save a PDF report for your team or the board.

Common Issues

Q: Why can I not compare more than six communities? A: Six is the limit so the chart stays readable. If you need more, run two comparisons or use the Benchmarks feature for portfolio-wide data.

Q: The numbers look wrong for one community. A: Make sure that community has finished onboarding. Incomplete data from a brand-new community can throw off the comparison.

Pro Tips

• Run a comparison before your monthly board meetings — it makes your reports stronger.
• Save your favorite comparison setups so you do not have to rebuild them every time.
