Getting Started: Homeowner Portal

Welcome to LotWize! This guide will help you set up your account and get comfortable with the homeowner portal in your first week.

Day 1: First Login and Setup

Step 1: Log In

Go to your community's LotWize portal and sign in with the email and password your board or property manager gave you. If you did not receive login info, contact them to request access.

Step 2: Set Up Your Profile

Click Profile in the sidebar. Update your phone number, email, and mailing address. Add household members, vehicles, and pets if your community tracks them. This helps the board reach you when needed.

Step 3: Explore the Portal

Take a quick tour of the sidebar menu. Click into each section to see what is available:

  • Amenities — See what shared spaces you can book.
  • Documents — Check if your bylaws and meeting minutes are posted.
  • Chat — Try asking the assistant a question like "What are the pool hours?"

Day 2: Payments and Documents

Step 1: Review Your Payment Info

Click Payments to see your current HOA assessment amount and due date. If your board has online payments set up, you can pay with a card. Consider setting up Autopay so you never miss a due date.

Step 2: Read Key Documents

Go to Documents and download your community bylaws and the latest meeting minutes. Knowing the rules early helps you avoid violations and understand how decisions are made.

Day 3: Book an Amenity and Submit a Request

Step 1: Reserve a Community Space

Click Amenities, pick a space like the pool or gym, and make a reservation. This gets you familiar with how booking works before you actually need it.

Step 2: Submit a Test Request

Click Requests and submit a simple maintenance request, like reporting a burned-out light. This helps you learn the flow so you can use it quickly when something urgent comes up.

By the end of your first week, try each of these at least once:
